BENEFITS OF ACECNJ MEMBERSHIP

ACEC Trust Programs

ACECNJ is a member organizations of ACEC.  Our ‘mission is to contribute to America’s prosperity and welfare by advancing the business interests of member firms’.  Through ACEC national, ACECNJ provides its members with access to resources such as ACEC Trust Programs.  The ACEC Trust Programs include Health/Life Insurance Trust, Retirement Trust and Business Insurance Trust.  For more information on these programs, follow the link to view ACEC’s Trust Programs. >> Click Here

Networking

ACECNJ hosts meetings regularly, an annual celebratory banquet in March for the Engineering Excellence Awards and an annual Fall Conference each November.  These events provide members with the opportunity to represent their firm and meet colleagues.  Meetings bring informative discussion presented by speakers who have professional standing to speak on issues concerning the engineering industry.  Speakers are noteworthy engineering professionals and/or government agency officials.

Educational Seminars

ACECNJ provides the opportunity for members to receive professional development credit by attending educational seminars that focus on specific business topics.  Topics are specifically focused on the improvement of business management practices for engineering firms.  Each year a range of educational seminars will help train your staff and leadership to becoming better business people.

 

LEVELS OF MEMBERSHIP

Full Membership

Full membership is available to firms who maintain a New Jersey office, have one or more licensed or registered principals, and are engaged in the independent practice of engineering, surveying, architecture or other related scientific professions. The by-laws require firms applying for full membership to meet state licensing requirements.  Dues for both the national and state councils are based on the total number of employees in your firm (New Jersey offices only).

New member firms whose membership applications are approved by the ACEC New Jersey Board of Directors will pay first-year dues on a pro-rated schedule.

Affiliate Membership

Affiliate membership consists of business firms or special institutional, societies or alliances that support the goals of ACEC and provide professional services used in the internal operation of Member Firms.  Dues: $1,000 for a fiscal year that begins July 1 and ends June 30. Renewing members are invoiced June 1 and dues are payable by July 1.

Associate Membership

Associate membership consists of business firms or special institutional, societies or alliances that support the goals of ACEC and provide professional services of scientific or technical nature that are complementary to the service provided by Member Firms, and provided those managing the services are professionally licensed/certified/registered, as appropriate, in that area.  Dues: $1,000 for a fiscal year that begins July 1 and ends June 30. Renewing members are invoiced June 1 and dues are payable by July 1.

Supplier Membership

Supplier membership consists of business firms or special institutional, societies or alliances that support the goals of ACEC and provide products used in the internal operation of Member Firms.  Dues: $500 for a fiscal year that begins July 1 and ends June 30. Renewing members are invoiced June 1 and dues are payable by July 1.
