Gabrielle Liguori of Toms River is a founding member of NorthStar Strategies, where she works as Director of Association Management, planning and coordinating events ranging from cocktail parties to golf outings to conferences for over 300 people. Not only does she provide event and association management to her clients; She also works closely on important policy initiatives and relationship building activities. “Gabrielle works extraordinarily well in a male dominated field and is not shy to express her opinion,” said nominator Teri O’Connor, Monmouth County Administrator and first vice chair of the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore Board of Directors. “While this young woman has not yet amassed a laundry list of achievements, she is someone who has assisted other young women and her family throughout her life. She is a positive role model with a bright future.”

Gabrielle attended Rider University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. While in school she served on its Women’s Leadership Council and Phi Theta Kappa.

A strong advocate for animals, Gabrielle participates in Popcorn Park Zoo’s “Share-a-Pet” program currently sponsoring three dogs and a rescue horse with special/medical needs. In her free time, you can find Gabrielle playing tennis and soccer, skiing and boating with friends and family.

A fun fact about me is I used to spend 3 weeks every summer on a pig farm in Illinois where I competed in 4-H competitions showing pigs and sheep.

My favorite quote is.. “Better to be slapped with the truth than to be kissed with a lie”

My job would be a lot easier if people communicated more effectively.
